How To Find Your Tyre Size
When looking for the size of your car tyres the only accurate way to find it is to look on the sidewall of your tyre. Looking in your cars handbook or using registration look-ups provided by some websites are not accurate methods when looking for your tyre size.

The tyre size will be on the sidewall of each tyre and will be set out in the following format although the numbers and letters could be different

Explanation of the tyre size
| 205 | "Tyre Width" in millimetres. |
| 55 | "Aspect Ratio" is the ratio of a tyre's width to it's height. In this case 55% of "Tyre Width" |
| R | "Radial Construction". The tyres construction type. |
| 16 | "Rim Diameter" of the tyre in inches. In this case it is a 16" tyre. |
| 91 | "Load Rating" of the tyre. This is the maximum weight the tyre can carry. In this case 615 kg. |
| W | "Speed Rating" of the tyre. The tyres maximum speed at maximum load. In this case 168 mph. |
