]]> Continental Sport Contact 5Continental Tyres are set to unleash their ultra high performance tyre – the Sport Contact 5 P at the turn of the year. This new tyre has been developed and tested in conjunction between Continental Tyres and their OE partners to ensure maximum safety and driving pleasure. The Continental Sport Contact 5 P promises Shorter Stopping Distances, Protection Against Aquaplaning, Excellent Handling (including superb grip and stability when cornering) and a Smooth and Quiet Drive.

The Sport Contact 5 P is OE on the Audi TT RS, Audi RS4, Audi R8, Renault Megane RS and Mercedes E-Class AMG.

With safety in mind, Continental Tyres have also designed the Sport Contact 5 P with a 3mm tread wear indicator to alert the consumer that the tyre is getting close to requiring replacement.

Already available are 235/35ZR19 91Y Sport Contact 5 P (Renault Megane RS) and 255/30ZR20 92Y Sport contact 5 P (Audi TT RS) with more tyre sizes due to become available during the first quarter of 2010.
