The MS Society is the UK’s largest charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).

Multiple sclerosis is caused by damage to the “myelin” which is a protective sheath that surrounds the nerve fibres of the central nervous system. When this “myelin” is damaged it affects the messages between the brain and other parts of the body. The Multiple Sclerosis Society provides support for this disabling neurological condition which affects around 100,000 adults in the UK.
