The early onset for winter 2011 has been predicted by several meteorologists with some suggesting snowfall as early as October or November will bring potential misery to millions of drivers.
Experts from the Met Office, NetWeather & Exacta Weather have all predicted plummeting temperatures with some suggesting heaviest snowfalls between November and January with below average temperatures between December and February.
