Winter Tyres have been very popular this year with like for like sales up 32%. More and more customers are buying winter tyres for use in the UK and not just for the winter holiday abroad. It is unreasonable to expect a tyre to perform consistently with temperatures that can range from highs of 32° or more to lows of -10° or less. Customers are seeing winter tyres as an investment as once the weather improves going in to Spring, customers replace their winter tyres with the summer tyres they removed originally and put the winter tyres in storage until the following winter.
