Are your tyre prices fully inclusive of Mobile Tyre Fitting, Valve, Balancing, Casing Disposal and VAT?

Tyre prices shown on our website or quoted on the phone are always fully inclusive of mobile tyre fitting at your home or work address, new valves (excluding metal valves or pressure sensor valves), electronic wheel balancing of steel, alloy or centre less wheels (some Peugeot, Citroen and Renault), disposal of any tyres we replace and VAT.

One thing which many people misunderstand and think is included is "Tracking". This is a mechanical adjustment of the steering to make sure that the front wheels of the vehicle are correctly aligned. This setting is not affected when we remove your wheels and replace your tyres. Misalignment is one of the main contributors to premature tyre wear often proving worse on the inner or outer edges of the front tyres. Event Mobile Tyres do not adjust a vehicles alignment / tracking as in order to get a correct reading the vehicle needs to be on a flat surface such as a vehicle ramp and not a surface such as a road, driveway or car park. Although we do not carry out alignment / tracking adjustments with our mobile tyre service, all our technicians are able to advise you whether, in their opinion, your alignment / tracking is set incorrectly and the best course of action to take. This advise can only be given by viewing the worn tyres.

What payment methods do you accept when you replace my tyres?

Chip and PinOur prefered method of payment when we replace your tyres is Debit Card or Credit Card. We accept all major Debit or Credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. We do not accept American Express or Cheques under any circumstances. We will accept cash if you are unable to pay by Debit or Credit card but please note our fitters do not carry change.

How do I find my tyre size ?

The ONLY way you can accuratly find your tyre size is to look on the sidewall of your tyre. Many tyre websites have software that looks up your tyre size from your vehicle registration or model. WE HAVE TESTED THIS SOFTWARE AND IT IS NOT ACCURATE. Sometimes you will get the correct size but when we tested it, it was often wrong.

How quickly can you attend and replace my tyres if I book today?

Most of our tyre replacement bookings can be done the following day or any day onwards including Saturday Mornings. Some areas are busier than other so next day is not always possible.

Same day may be available depending on what tyres you need and where about's in the UK you need them. For same day we suggest you Contact Us. If we are unable to schedule your fitment for same day we will advise and discuss whatever options we have to get your tyres replaced as quickly as possible.

It is very difficult to specify an exact time as we can encounter many things that may change the way we schedule the work up until the last minute. If you need to have the work done AM, PM, outside of school run times or lunch hours then there are various options available when booking online or if you prefer to book by phone just discuss your availability with the control centre at the time of booking.

Quite often we experience exceptional levels of work that may mean your requested date / time is not possible. We will do everything we can to reschedule a date / time that causes as little inconvenience as possible. We understand this is not always going to be acceptable.

I have purchased my tyres already from another company. How much will you charge me to fit them?

We only fit tyres that we supply. We do not ask anyone else to fit tyres for us and do not fit tyres for anyone else.

Do you offer a "Delivery Only" option as my postcode is not covered by your mobile tyre fitting service?

No Delivery Only OptionAt present we do not offer a delivery option to postcodes not covered by our mobile car tyre fitting service although we are looking at introducing one in the future. If we do not cover your postcode, but we cover another postcode within a few miles, then please Contact Us as we may be able to help.

You can collect tyres from any of our locations at Manchester (Fitting and Tracking Available), Warrington or Henley-on-Thames as long as this is arranged with the relevant depot beforehand to ensure your tyres are available and reserved for collection.

Some customers in desperate need of tyre replacement find this option useful when we have a required tyre in stock but are unable to fit it due to our Mobile Tyre Fitting Service being fully booked. Payment will be taken by Debit or Credit card when the tyres are collected. Contact details for our locations can be found in our Contact Us page.

I have expensive alloy wheels. Can you replace my tyres without damaging my alloy wheels?

Absolutely. We use Hofmann tyre fitting machines and wheel balancers in our mobile tyre fitting vehicles. The tyre fitting machine is a high quality piece of equipment and is capable of replacing tyres up to 26" including run flat tyres, 4x4 tyres and low profile tyres.

Our mobile car tyre fitting vehicles are all equipped with Hofmann Electronic Wheel Balancers to ensure that when we replace your tyres we can also balance the wheel to make sure there is no vibration or shudder when the vehicle travels at increased speed. All our balancers are capable of balancing wheels including steel rims, alloy rims and centre less rims found on some Citroen, Renault and Peugeot cars.

Where possible our tyre fitters will balance your alloy wheels without the balance weights being visible on the outside of the wheel.

What guarantee do I get with my new tyres?

What guarantee do I get with my new tyres ?Your new tyres are covered for 5 years against manufacturers defect. This guarantee does not cover punctures, accidental damage or any other damage that is not a defect in the tyres construction. How much room do you need to replace my tyres?

Event Mobile Tyres do not require a great amount of room to replace your tyres. If you can get in and out of you car easily, both sides, then usually we will have enough room to replace your tyres.
